Before BTG was a technology strategy firm, it was a concept—a way of engineering technology solutions, and a level of professional service. While we work with some of the most cutting-edge technologies in the world, the core beliefs of our firm are based on common sense wisdom and time-tested business practice.
When Wayne Chang and I founded BTG, we did so having experienced many different technology projects, for many different organizations, from many different vantage points. What brought us together in a partnership that led to BTG was a shared desire to help others use technology to its greatest benefit.
My experiences as a technology manager on a Congressional campaign, when I was just 12-years-old, had taught me the impact that one agile, enthusiastic, and dedicated mind can have on an organization. This was reaffirmed during my freshman year at Harvard, when I interned with a financial services company. Before the semester was over, I had created a software system that, in its simplicity, is still used throughout the company to this day, years later.
We founded a firm that was based on our belief in the limitless potential of agile and creative individuals to create technology strategy for enterprise. We created a team where every member is a powerful reflection of the philosophies of the firm. We are a place where both clients and team members alike are part of the BTG family. We give back to our people and our customers more than what they bring to the firm. BTG is a place for growth, success, and the unending pursuit of better technology solutions for ourselves and our clients.
